Felt at ease from first meeting Amy Calman, my psychologist, Benefitted very much. Noticed overall changes in my stress and well being, for positive. And have Amy Calman to thank. Would go to appointments more than once/ week if it were something I could do with my schedule.

I remember I was undecided about trying a new therapist after seeing a few who didn’t click with me. But I knew from what my friends say about therapy, it’s all about finding a good fit. I am happy I tried one more person because Amy was that perfect fit. She is very relatable, and you can tell she is truly listening to what you say. She is one of the kindest people I've known. Has been providing me comfort for many years.

I moved to Seattle but wish I could still see her

Amy was my "shrink' for well almost 3 years before I moved cross country to be with my (now) wife then (fiancé) who had her job changed. I was fine to leave New York except for one thing. I did NOT want a new shrink to start with. I miss Amy and miss seeing her week to week. Once told her I wanted her to come with me and offered to buy her plane ticket. She laughed but it was #jokenotjoke.
I still haven't found a new person to see. I tried 2 Seattle psychiatrists but they werer not right. I mean not right for me. I will be open to Seattle recommendations for anxiety panic attacks, social anxiety mainly.

Amy is smart, funny and cares about patients. I had a hard time making my appointments and she realized that was part of my problem and she never decided to give up on me. She figured out a way to get me to things on time and never got angry or frustrated like my other therapist.  I've had depression and have been in the hospital several times since I was a teen and it's getting old and I'm tired of being miserable all the time. Nobody would know it because I have a job most would envy and get lots of respect but I can't be happy. Amy gets it and I feel comfortable telling her things about my life that I could never share before. I'm glad to find her.

I have been seeing Amy for the last 6 months plus and she's so helpful for me. I went to 3 therapists before and couldn't stay more than a couple weeks each one. I felt so much worse and worse about myself after I saw them. Amy is the only person in my life so many years actually decades who actually understands what I'm saying and I feel like finally when I see her have someone to finally help me. I couldn't really actually say my problems before but I can to her. I got a recommended from my friend's friend who was saying he likes her alot. But so still didn't know what to expect.  She really cares and I never felt this and I hope she will stay my therapist a long time. I won't say my diagnose but after I did research was finding out not that many therapists like to work on it or think its so hard. But Amy did not make me feel to be shamed or like there was anything to hide. I can also say she has patience of a god or something like that!
