I am not a client with Dayton, but I have known and have worked laterally with him for at least 6 years. As a therapist, he has been the most visible, available, and consistent clinician Family Preservation has employed-since contracting with BCS for School Based Therapy and other services. I have been very impressed with his level of commitment to the students, as well as with his willingness to work with school supports, principals, and other school related staff within Buncombe County Schools. We are very impressed with him not only as a therapist, but also as a positive addition to the school system and community.
Tony Baldwin.

We were really were at our wits end with our daughter and didn't know what to do. She had been in and out of trouble at school and then the juevenile court system got involved. A judge ordered she receive counseling along with community service. We really couldn't find a therapist that connected with her, and to be honest, she made it very difficult for anyone to work with her. I didn't know much about Dayton (and a little apprehensive due to wanting a female therapist), but he was highly recommended by a mutual friend. I quickly realized after the 1st meeting that he was our guy! He immediately connected with our daughter, and us, in a comfortable way. He had a tremendous amount of optimism and confidence and that made us (and her) feel at ease. We now have been with him for 2 years and see him as a part of our family. He was willing to try literally anything to help us! He's professional-but funny, efficient...but sensitive, and dedicated...but easy going....I highly recommend him!!!!!

Dayton worked exlusively with our family at our home. Dayton was very skilled in assisting my son and I see our negative communication patterns and finding alternative ways to communicate our needs. My son is a great student now and I don't get any phone calls from the principal anymore. My son still has some "issues" but he will talk to me about them appropriately instead of screaming at me. Dayton made me and my family feel at ease, and he walked us through the therapy process. I recommend Dayton to anyone ready for therapy, and I appreciate his investment in our family.

My son has had 4 different therapist that did not help him at all-until we met Mr. Davis. Mr. Davis is a great listener and very skilled at his job. My son was an F student before beginning counseling services with Mr. Davis, and now he is on the A/B honor roll at Cane Creek Middle School. My son is also more respectful at home towards me and my husband. Mr. Davis was also willing to go to our home instead of going to the school or office!  I recommend him to anyone looking for a good quality therapist. Melissa O.
