We knew our son was sinking, but we couldn't bring him out of it.  We were worried, scared and finally I asked a dear friend "do you know someone".  Thankfully she knew Dr. Satt and from the first meeting, we were on the right track and heading up.  Our son had weekly meetings with Dr. Satt and we started to see postive change within the first month. Despite us being the usual questioning "so what did you talk about" parents, Dr. Satt let our son know that it was okay for him to set boundaries too.  Doing that, we think, instilled confidence and a feeling of safety that he could really drop the barriers and get to the issues that were getting in his way.  Fast forward 18 months - our son went back to school, made Dean's List (from probation the semester before), and improved relationships with us, his co-workers and friends completely.  He recently went back for a "checkup" as he was feeling somewhat overwhelmed.  That meeting was a great adjustment and I think it's a worthwhile thing for our son to do in the future.  We are incredibly thankful that we discovered Dr. Satt - he was very accommodating with us, was always available for our son and still is now.

Dr. Satt worked with me to achieve lasting relief from my chronic depression. I found him to be knowledgeable, intelligent, caring, and focused in his work. I especially appreciated his consistently attentive presence and interactive approach. I highly recommend him.

Superb doctor. I hope never to have to use his services again, but if I must, I would. He helped my son tremendously, and he helped the dynamics in my family. Highly intelligent, caring, he doesn't just listen. He problem solves for workable solutions and strategies. If there's a crisis, unlike many therapists he doesn't say "Time's up, I have another patient." He works with every patient to ensure he/she feels cared for. I'm not easily impressed, and neither is my husband. Dr. Satt impressed us both.
