The 1st few wks of meet w a therapist is a difficult time to completely evaluate how well yr therapy sessions were but especially if it is a once a wk meet. I found her thru Google for my then middle school going children on bullying at school n autism. No doubt abt her compassion for people, that is why she is in the business but she is also patient. i believe that all therapists wants to help everyone even if the topic is not their specialty. It is in them to want to help. Some therapists don't want to refer their new patient to another who r more geared to helping to solve the problem. So if she "rejects" u, consider yrself "lucky" n find someone else. Psychotherapy is a broad field n not every therapists get exposed to every field to enable them to specialize in all fields. It's like mattresses- got to try them out before u know that u hv the right one to help u. Now Dr. Borst helps in my office n marital affairs. If i could hv her as a best friend, i would. She is real as u can get but not in yr face type of person. I m thankful that she has a husband who knows how much her patients mean to her n has been w her through n true. Good luck to your search of the right therapist for the problems u wish to hv resolve.

Dr. Borst seems like a compassionate Dr. in the beginning but ended up being a suburban relaxation doctor.  She was only interested in people who were stressed, not mentally ill or depressed.  She actually dropped me because I was TOOO depressed.  Avoid unless you just need relaxation therapy.
