Introduction:
Are you troubled by anxiety, panic, fears, phobias, insomnia, or stress? Let me help you.

I am a licensed psychologist experienced in clinical hypnosis and specializing in effective, brief treatment. I offer Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), the most effective non-medication treatment for insomnia. I am also certified by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis as an Approved Consultant in Clinical Hypnosis.

I offer virtual reality therapy (VRT) for fear of flying, driving (city, highway, bridge, or tunnel), public speaking, job interviews, height, needles, elevators, BART, or insects. VRT makes overcoming fears easily and more comfortable by letting you "face" your fear in a 3-D immersive virtual environment in the office with my guidance, control, and support. Don't let fear restrict your life.

My practice is designed for people who want to achieve their goals as quickly as possible, free from the constraints of managed care. Services are offered on a private pay basis. I emphasize fast, effective treatment offered with flexibility, creativity, empathy, and warmth.

Treatment is individually tailored to your unique strengths and needs. We mutually discuss your goals and agree upon the approaches to use emphasizing evidence-based therapies of proven effectiveness, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, and may include hypnosis, relaxation, stress management, mindfulness, guided imagery, and other skills.
