Introduction: | I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing support and guidance for individuals working towards life changes, personal growth, and managing life's obstacles. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Business from the University of San Diego, and my Masters and Doctorate of Psychology from Alliant, California School of Professional Psychology. I have worked in community mental health centers, hospitals, schools, in home services, and at a private psychiatric treatment facility. I provide services to children and adolescents, adults, and families dealing with challenges related to: Interpersonal/social difficulties - Family conflict - Mood disorders - Addiction - Phase of life changes
I can also help through psychological assessments including personality, emotional, cognitive, and academic testing. Psychological assessment can help to develop a clearer understanding of the issues at hand, differentiation between psychiatric diagnosis, treatment planning, and developing specific recommendations in order to help an individual work towards resolving their problems. I emphasize the need for self-care for clients in order to maintain sustainable changes. I believe it's important as a therapist to "practice what I preach" thus, I have developed my own self-care tools including running, yoga and fitness, time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling. | ||||||||||||||||
