I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah and have been in private practice for many years. I specialize in working with couples, individuals, and families.
I teach four graduate-level Positive Psychology courses at the University of Utah and engage in the research and development of new psychological instruments. I present at conferences and conventions around the country and have been featured frequently in the media (including morning TV shows, niche internet channels, and magazines).
As a positive psychologist and counselor, I believe in focusing on human strengths instead of pathology. I strive to help every individual see themselves in a more positive light, enhance their well-being, and live life to the fullest.
I specialize in: addiction treatment, depression and anxiety, pre-marital counseling, divorce adjustment counseling, patients with pain, abuse and trauma, relationship, family or marital problems, and ADHD/psychological assessment.
