I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 25 years. Ray is my first choice when I need comfort and guidance as a person or when I want to talk to an experienced, knowledgeable professional therapist for help in understanding my patients. He is a warm and caring man who has devoted his life to helping others. Expect to wait awhile before getting an appointment because he is extremely popular. LAS

Dr Kuckleburg saw my cousin who was in individual therapy with him for over 20 years, then group therapy with him. He dated, then married a member of the group, even though the rules he laid out for the group were no 'hanky panky' between members. I understand from many discussions with my cousin over the years that he's a good therapist but this was highly unethical behavior and the length of time that he saw her is questionable in my mind, too. She didn't have a major mental illness, which often calls for long term support, but she grew up in an extremely dysfunctional family.  I'm a retired Clinical Psychologist, but there was no option to state that this rating was as a colleague in the profession, not as his patient. Records will show that his wife was a patient if they still exist. I never reported this. He was good support for my cousin when she was dying of cancer.

So, Dr Kuckleburg treated your cousin for over 20 years, and you say, "He's a good therapist" and "He was good support for my cousin when she was dying of cancer."  Seems like a fairly decent guy to me.  So why on earth did you feel it was necessary to publicize that he "dated and married" a former patient?!  Learning that you are a retired Clinical Psychologist intensified my surprise.
