Introduction:
My practice focuses almost exclusively on the assessment and management of sleep problems and dependence on sleeping pills. As a fellow insomniac, night owl, sleep scientist, psychologist, and certified behavioral sleep specialist I bring a unique perspective to managing sleep problems. I know what it is like to suffer from poor sleep and I know how to help you sleep well. I will help you understand your sleep problem and guide you through proven non-medication cognitive and behavioral strategies. Trouble with sleeping pills? I will collaborate with you and your physician to slowly reduce and eliminate them from your life.

I called for a appointment asking if they accepted medicaid, and they said yes. So I went to the visit and after about 30 min with the doctor, and answering a battery of questions, he said "90% sure I can help you, but we don't accept medicaid. Here is a website that can help you." That was it!? Sure enough, I got a 300 dollar bill from him, when I was told before that they accept medicaid. I explained to everyone in the office what happened but it didn't matter. I was still charged. Called medicaid, but they never called answered. In the end, they settled for less, but I was still disappointed that the doctor actually knew I could not afford him when he came into the office and wasted my time and money.
