I made the mistake of seeking assistance.  Wait, that's incorrect.  I made the mistake of seeking assistance of someone under qualified, unsympathetic, and with low morals.  If I am lucky I can fix the issues she created within a brief amount of time.  Manage your time, money, and energy wisely.  I do not have the energy to argue with someone who is supposedly on her way to a doctorate.  Clearly schooling did not teach her to relate to everyday people.  I did not need to hear about any other client.  I did not need to be badgered about having or not having nightmares.  I understand she tries to treat a whole body. However, what does her relatedness to other clients, have to do with me, other than waste my time?  Telling me of a technique used with someone else, does not mean it will work with me.  Telling me I am wrong, or calling me stupid, does not make me want to open up to this person.  I contacted the licensing board and didn't even need to give her numbers, I simply said her name and was forwarded to someone who apparently knew of her already.  Please, do yourself a HUGE favor and find someone who can help you, not create more problems. When I attempted to end this business arrangement, she became like a smallish child throwing a fit.  I was astounded.  From one adult to another, it was not my intention to try to have a discussion with a toddler.  I did give her "office environment" 2 stars, because each office she has had (she has moved at least 3 times while I was deciding if I could work with her varied personalities) has been nicely laid out and temperature was pleasant.

Do not use this therapist if you need someone for children, victims of abuse, gay parents, or if you need someone impartial.  Lay people can take the same marriage and family therapy and mediation course which she touts as her qualification to see tramautized children - one part is simply a 4 day seminar.
Liz quickly takes sizes and is lacking the skills necessary to mediate or help children deal with stress.  She will actually create ideas in their heads, form an improper bond with an abusive parent, and continue previous abuse toward a battered spouse under the guise of "allowing the children to speak safely" (with the abuser required to be in the same room).  If a judge had not stated therapy must continue, we would not still have her number in our phones.  However, that situation will change soon.  Be warned, if someone suggests her, know that you are going to need twice as much therapy to repair the wounds created by this person. She will take calls from other clients, talk to you about other clients, fake knowledge of play therapy, continually scold one child and ask why said child can't be like its sibling, form improper bonds with someone she originally stated had several psychological diagnoses(he was her independent client outside of the children and she sat and was telling us all about his session, and discuss my private session information to abuser. Whole heartedly unprofessional.
