Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and offers the option of integrating Art Therapy into counseling sessions. Her experience includes working in community based agencies, shelters for domestic violence survivors, and residential treatment centers with people of diverse cultures and ages, including children, teens, and adults.

Lisa provides holistic, insight-orientated therapy that encourages self-compassion, positive self-regard, motivation, and solutions. A person can also choose to explore the avenue of Art Therapy anytime during treatment, which combines using art materials with verbal processing. Lisa offers a wide variety of creative modalities such as drawing, clay, collage, painting, music, poetry, chalk, oil pastels, found objects, textures, dance movement, mandalas, boxes, puppets, and mixed media. Benefits of Art Therapy include increased self-awareness, safe expression, stress reduction, mood and energy elevation, and increased self-esteem through visualization of strengths, goals, and positive transformations. No prior art skills are needed for art therapy, because the focus is on the process of healthy expression without any judgment.
