Lynette is very talented, warm and extremely effective therapist.  She is very accepting and nonjudgmental.

My adolescent child saw Lynette for several months. During that time she never seemed to get a handle on what was going on, and no trust was built, so no progress was made. By the end of our time with her, she seemed frustrated by not knowing how to meet my child's needs. As a result, she was abrupt and shaming toward my child and rude and disrespectful toward me. We switched to another therapist when it got so bad that my child was crying all the way home from appointments. Our experience with the new therapist has been amazingly good and has renewed our confidence in therapists in general, after a very negative experience with Lynette.

In response to an unfavorable review I just found on this site, I would hope the rebuttal of a current client of over six years will carry more weight than that of a short-term one.  After meeting other therapists regarding serious mood disorder diagnosis of my child in 2005 which was ruining the chance of a normal life and future for my family I found Lynnette.  Since then my family has attended sessions mostly every week and never less than every other.  Our family has a lot of strong character; bold, emotional and oppositional. We have brought a lot, I mean a lot of raw emotion to Lynnette who has always handled us with a caring understanding of what we are challenged with and helped us to see the path through it all. I would like to note there is a teenager in this family, so the emotions can get high and sometimes inconsolable. Lynnette has helped arrange appropriate school counseling and keeps an open line with them to insure and consistency in my child’s routine.   While every session does not end in a group hug, it does end with more understanding of each other and sometimes even a plan to help ourselves and each other through the torture this disease has plagued us with. We consider ourselves lucky to have Lynnette in our lives and would recommend her to anyone how needs a caring therapist who has always gone the extra mile for us.  Thank you Lynnette!

I have been seeing Lynette for over a year now. She is very helpful and really listens to what you have to say. She does all she can to help. You never have to wait when you go into an appointment because Lynette always runs on time. She is a really helpful therapist and I would recommend her to anyone.

This is a therapist who could not deal with anyone getting upset in her office. She wound up "firing" us from family therapy because people got angry ( no one was shouting, abusive, or violent, just emotional)in her office.  Worse than that, she did it by way of a registered letter, not letting any of us, even the teenager involved hear her reasons in person or discuss this.  I would send  no one to see her!
