Dr. Pendleton was an absolute godsend.  Yes, he did put my husband on disability during the process of cognitive rehabilitation, but that was also because a. it was true and b. it helped financially with the processes.  After a year of cognitive rehab, therapy and counseling, I cannot praise him high enough - his to-the-point, but kind, very specific but patient, methods got us back to living a life rather than just getting through it. It took a LONG time, and it wasn't easy, and goodness knows it would have been easier to just get by (like the previous reviewer, my husband was also in school and doing fine) but I literally thank him for helping us get our life back AND making us earn it.  I would recommend him without hesitation - brain injuries are so complicated and confusing, and no two people are the same.  Thank you.

A psychiatrist referred me to Pendleton because I had a skull fracture and was very depressed. Although after my injury I was still able to get straight A's in school. After taking his tests he determined that I should be on disability and I was incapable of doing almost anything. His comments destroyed my confidence, judgment, and hope. After a year of severe depression and hopelessness I went to another neuropsychologist and he determined I was capable of doing almost anything and that I did very well on all of his test which were basically the same as Pendleton's tests. My only conclusion from this is Pendleton is incompetent or wanted me to believe his lies so I would stay in his therapy for a long time (which I did to my regret). I would not recommend this guy to anyone.
