Introduction:
Addiction is tough: that compulsion to go back and do the same thing over and over, even though you know it destroys your life... You feel pain, failure, worthlessness, humiliation, contempt... You've tried to break the 'habit', get your control back, but just when you start feeling some success you stumble, and you're back in the same hole again. It's important to understand that addiction changes how your brain functions. It's not just a bad habit. And breaking addiction by yourself is not as simple as it sounds.

I've been helping people recover from addiction for years with great success. You're not 'weak' ...it's just that these brain changes must be addressed in specific ways, and I specialize in those methods. Most of my clients are successful with counseling and don't need residential treatment.

My comfortable and confidential office makes beginning your journey as easy as possible. Sliding scale fees are affordable to almost anyone, and generally clients with insurance are reimbursed for services. Whether you're ready to quit or just thinking about it, I can help - call today for a free consultation.

Certified to provide addiction counseling in the State of California, I am graduate of Bethany University’s Addiction Counseling program, and have earned the Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS), Forensic Addiction Counselor (FAC), and Clinical Supervisor (CSC) credentials. I have served as the Director of Rehabilitation for one of California’s largest addiction treatment providers, and have provided consulting services for other treatment centers and professionals. I have been practicing addiction counseling and interventions for over five years and have helped clients and families from a variety of backgrounds. I’m a member of the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) and the Addiction Professional Association of California (APAC). I have excellent professional references that are available upon request. For more information, please see my website at http://www.pacificaddictioncenter.com.
