Miri was upfront and candid. Her advice was excellent and to the point. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through a family custody issue. Her knowledge of CPS and experience with families going through family court was invaluable. She listens and is brutally honest about your options and responsibilities. This was especially helpful to me as a parent fighting an uphill battle in family court over custody issues, and someone without therapy experience or family court experience.

I would not recommend this therapist. I had 50/50 custody and visitations with my child prior to coming to her.
I was not able to come to the first two meetings, on the third, which was my first meeting with her; my daughter
told me she didn't want to stay with me anymore. The therapist had not even spoken to me, understood anything about me, or anything about my home or our relationship. It was put as a trial period to me. I was emotionally devastated and kind of pressured into agreeing to a month. During the next eight visits I sat in the meetings and told her I was not meeting with or communicating with my child via text or phone. Each successive meeting communication became worse; visitations ceased the day I agreed to this trial period. There was no help for me in the meetings. She never took me aside with my daughter to counsel us alone. In fact, during the last part of this period, the therapist went from weekly visits to once a month? That means things are better. When I spoke to her about this, she commented "I should not blame her, it is my job to communicate with my family." Now I am in a legal battle to get four months of time back that I really can never get back.
