Wow, where to begin... She told my boyfriend and I we were "different" and on the second visit, she asked me if I had a 'place to go', ie. move out if our apt!  We were there for treatment for anxiety issues!  I felt blamed, she put words in my mouth making me look bad in front of my boyfriend, saying things that were very untrue, even to the point of raising her voice at me.  I was in shock sitting there - you walk into these places with a certain amount of trust, well I'd recommend having your defenses up with this one. I would never recommend her.

On our second visit she actually said she didn't know what was keeping me and my fiancé together?? in her own words she said, "I dont know what's keeping you two together??" we just sat there not sure how to react to her comment. We were there because we needed help to sort out our issues and move forward in our relationship. Our issues were mostly related to our in-laws. Im not sure a therapist is supposed to say that especially on the second visit? She seemed a bit overwhelmed with us. Definitely not going back to her she seems a bit weak. I don't think she's good for marriage or couples counseling. Maybe other treatments but not marriage or couples. I walked away feeling like nothing was accomplished. she didn't even give any advice or homework to work on like other marriage therapist do. She didn't even ask us to come back. Simply said goodbye. I was very confused. I don't recommend her to anyone.
