My (ex) husband and I started seeing this counselor when our marriage bottomed out.  I did not realize at the time that my husband was abusive, he'd never hit me but his words did far more damage.  Mr. Ginther helped restore my confidence and offered support when I chose to leave my husband.

Mr. Ginther will challenge clients when necessary - even if it is uncomfortable.  I can't imagine I'd be where I am without the work we have done.

I say he saved my life because my ex-husband's behavior became more severe and threatening as I began enforcing my boundaries.

My wife and I were having trouble in our marriage when we went to see Mr. Ginther.  He said we seemed to love each other a lot and though we had gaps in how we viewed things should be ok with help.  My wife began making cookies for him, he said to help her do something she liked to do.  Whenever she said something to him via e-mail about me it was the topic of concern for the week.  If I did the same I was told I was looking at it all wrong and this wasn't about her.  She stopped talking to me altogether and began building a wall to keep me out.  She became more distant and began talking about how through the whole marriage I had been bad to her.  News to me and I feel could only have been placed into her head by Mr. Ginther.  He then began berating me and backing me into a corner and told me that I was defensive.  We both decided I should see someone else.  From there my wife got progressively more distant and finally left after I posted irritation to members of an online group.  I should not have done so.  Since then she has not talked with me over the phone or in person.  Again I believe this to be due to Scott's counseling her not to.  In short he took a troubled marriage, played favorites, then I feel he finished the marriage off.  Don't trust him.
