In my opinion, this therapist should no longer be practicing.  While she may have educational qualifications, she appears to be always distracted and talking about herself....to the point that you wonder if she even cares that you are there because you need help.  In addition, she is often quite rude.  If you are trying to work out a serious and difficult situation. DO NOT see this therapist!!   She is a prime example of someone who is ruining client's self esteem and relationships!!!  I'm baffled that she's allowed to practice therapy.

From what my child has told me, Dr. Tamara Singh frequnetly does patient sessions from remote locations (on the phone rather than face to face). I agreed to allow my child to do phone sessions with Dr. Singh until my child alerted me that Dr. Singh seems distracted during the phone sessions.  I reacted by listening in on one of the phone sessions for 5 minutes.  5 minutes was all I needed to hear children talking in the background. On another phone session I heard a dog barking which also proved to be distracting. How is this doctor able to focus on my childs needs if she is interacting with other children while she is supposed to be counseling my child? I strongly discourage parents from sending their children to Dr. Tamara Singh and I no longer support the phone session as a way to counsel children.  Face to face is the best way.

I just googled this doctor this morning and this posting came up. I agree with the posting above about Dr. Singh.  Except my child goes to the Oak Brook office for face to face sessions with Singh.  My child wanted to change psychologists because she told me that Dr. Singh uses her children, and how she parents her children, as examples when counseling my child.  This is strange to me that a doctor would bring her children into a conversation as a way to set examples while counseling my child. Very concerned about the experience this doctor has.
